Any RAZR speculation?

Hello everyone,

After being disappointed by the Nexus announcement, I wondered if anyone has any speculation or thoughts about new phones in the upcoming month or two, especially given the holiday season usually sees some nice releases. My Droid Incredible 2 is really, really showing its age. Specifically, I'm interested if there have been any rumors of new RAZRs. I did see this: Motorola RAZR Ultra, but wasn't sure if that ended up being the same as the Droid Ultra. Any thoughts there?

Haven't heard of a RAZR Ultra. Since Google and Motorola got married, I've been under the impression there are no more RAZR model of phones. The Ultra and Maxx are thin like the RAZR HD models. My recommendation for any phone on any carrier is the LG G2.

Right now you can pick it up for $99. 13mp camera, fastest processor (currently), HD display, very similar ui to touch wiz.

Every new phone released from the last few months can't even compete with it. Note 3's benchmark scores are lower than G2, HTC One Max has only a 4mp camera.

I'd scoop up the G2 while it's on sale or wait for next year's Galaxy S5.

I haven't seen anything one way or the other but sort of am inclined to think that Moto will be making the Droid line and the Moto X/G variants now for Verizon. Of course there may be other offerings but the rumor mill is sort of quiet right now.

If you are in the market for a phone and like Moto I can't recommend the X enough. It's awesome! They really got it right this time around (except for the camera, it's hit or miss but way better than before).

Well, theoretically the Droid line will be continuing and manufactured by Motorola, but I haven't heard any real speculation as to what's coming, other than my guess that the new droids won't be coming out until the summer at the earliest.

Correct, there will be no HTC or Samsung Droids.
