Help Any recommendations for pdf reader?

Greetings, I've uploaded a few pdfs to my phone to read and it seems that performance was very sluggish and at times hard to read. Can anyone make any recommendations for a pdf reader, or is it just an issue with the phone? thanks

There is the Adobe PDF reader. I would go with that one if you are unsatisfied with the stock one that came with your Sprint HTC Hero.

The Adobe PDF reader is free in the Android Market. I hope it works out for you.

The biggest issue I'm having with pdf files is that it seems to take time to load and there is lag time when going from page to page. I think it may be an issue with ram onboard the phone (HTC Hero). Some of the pdfs, are quite large. One is 50 MB.

Yeah, that would naturally take a long time to load because it is being loaded off of your microSD card. That is probably what is calling the slowness.

Given that size for a PDF file I think you would probably have slowness regardless of the PDF reader app you use. I would maybe recommend getting a faster microSD card to speed things up.

I have a 8 gb microsd card. So, size is no issue.

I am not talking about the size of your microSD card. I meant the size of the PDF itself.

A 50 MB PDF file is not exactly small. So it will take a while to load into your handset's memory especially if you have a slower microSD card.

Agreed, I've noticed that very large (>50 MB) really seem to drag the Android OS down. Wasn't sure if it was the onboard RAM or the pdf viewer. I would think it would be the phone hardware.
