Any recommendations on screen protection?

Just about all the current products seem to be getting horrible reviews any ones out there that are at least functional for the time being.

Is screen protection still relevant? Isn't Gorilla glass 5 more scratch resistant than the 'protectors'? And nothings going to stop a crack if it's dropped.

That's a valid point as well I just always carried one for those off times that my keys and my phone are bouncing around.

Fair enough. From what I am reading, most are recommending the old style cheap-o film protectors because none of the glass ones fit well and are super expensive.

FWIW, most keys are usually made of quite a soft metal, like brass, which is certainly softer than Gorilla Glass 5 I believe, so unlikely to scratch or mark it.

Now if you was carrying diamonds loose in your pocket...

But many key rings are made of spring steel and many have sharpish edges.

How about recommendations for cases? Is the otterbox really the only choice, or are there others that people like?

I used the Spigen Tough Armor and Spigen screen protector for my S6 Edge. I was pleased with them enough that I bought the same combination for my S8 Plus.
