Root Any ROM freezes

I can only get certain roms to flash and when they do they freeze at ramdom times usually soon after boot.

What Roms? and what steps are you following to install them?

BB, cm7 & 9, sic end sense, gingerbread inc. Have been doing factory data/reset, wipe cache and dalvik, read somewhere should format system and boot and fix permissions after flash, so have been doing that now but still same, then read somewhere format everything except sd card but cache and data say error formatting when doing them individually but when doing factory data/reset it says they format, those certain roms will load and boot but like I said freeze soon after so have to pull battery. No stock rom will flash and cant run ruu keeps saying usb connection error even with htc sync installed on computer. In clockwork cache is always mounted (only one that says unmount). I am unlocked, s-off, hboot is 1.02, radio 2.15.00.07.28 if that helps any.

Sounds like your partitions are messed up... might be time to start looking for a new phone.

The only thing you can really try is going back to stock by running an RUU. It's a long shot but might work.

Ya that's kinda what I figured, I put up another post about how to run sdparted exactly, i'm still new at this, so I tried from another post I found http://forum.cyanogenmod.org/topic/6433-solved-messed-up-partitions-on-internal-storage/page__st__20 and not sure if doing it right cuz it wasn't doing anything or it didn't recognise commands.

Yeah, I was going to refer you to that post, but i've never seen it help anyone in your situation.

Try any of them. It has a chance of fixing the partitions, but a small one.
