Root Any roms out there that hide tether usage?

To be honest, I wouldn't give a damn about who is tethering how much if it wasn't for the fact that now I'm getting throttled because of all the jackasses that are still using hundreds of gigs a month. MetroPCS and T-Mobile are so desperate to catch people doing unauthorized tethering that they are starting to count any user agent spoofery to your hotspot data. I use an app called Advanced Download Manager to download files directly to my external SD card instead of having to constantly move everything after I download it, and now every bit of data used by that app is getting counted against my hotspot data because Advanced Download Manager has a user agent option in the settings. I'm really getting pissed because all the people trying to get something for nothing aren't "sticking it to the man" anymore. Now they are sticking it to the rest of us.
 
Lol I'm over tether now, lol besides I just wanted to be able to use my ps4 without Throttle ( which has not been to successful for me) lol so blame all the other idiots. I use average of 70 gig a month on my phone alone ; and damn metro ain't bullshitin
 
Sorry about the little rant there its just frustrating that all my 6gb of free tethering allowance is gone when I have done less than 250mb of actual tethering this bill cycle. Its even more frustrating because I started getting throttled down to 12kb/s and had to stop a download that I had been waiting on longer than an hour.

But damn I still can't believe that metro and T-Mobile are being so drastic, that's insane. Makes me wanna format my phone and start over. Think imma make a post asking ppl to stop tethering
 
I use Moto Tether with xposed and made a new apn to include dun and i have unlimited tethering i used 78 gb last month 42 where with tethering and thats just one month been using it for 6 months and still works fine today

I'm using Moto tether too, but I haven't hit 6 gigs since the crackdown, and I probably won't. I was wondering if it would still work. Are you over 6 gigs now?
 
Here is what pisses me off. I've used less than 250mb of tethered data this billing cycle. Literally all I did is go online on my laptop and surf the web for a couple hours and I didn't stream any video or music or download any large files. My data got throttled earlier tonight in the middle of a download when they dropped my speed down to around 10-15kb/s. Also, yesterday it said I had used 4.5gb of tethering out of the 6gb which already annoyed me but then tonight it told me that I was out of hotspot when I hadn't turned on my hotspot in the last 24 hours. Smh

In windows I use easytether pro with a user agent in my browser (usually set to android or Linux). Easytether pro also works with Mac without a user agent. Dunno what to do with ps4
