Root Any security issues that are analogous to jailbreaking?

Hi all,

When I jailbroke my 3GS iPhone, I had to change the root password to avoid having someone SSH into my phone. Are there similar vulnerabilities with rooting my Dinc? Are there any special precautions to take?

Thanks,
Mischka

You don't have to worry about that with the Android phones because of the Superuser app. Although you can't change or create a SU password, the first time an application ,or anything for that matter, requests root privileges it asks you to allow, permanently allow, or deny the SU request. I would suggest only permanently allowing applications that you trust completely to avoid security issues.
