Any SPB Shell 3D users?

I had the opportunity to spend about 15 minutes today playing with SPB on my coworker's tablet. This was especially interesting to me, because we both have the GTab 10.1. My first impression was WOW! It's very smooth, extremely fast, and the folder handling is just perfect... iOS style, but they actually look like folders, and you can drag/drop rearrange app icons within an open folder. After a short while though, despite the pluses I noted and the value expectation of a launcher that costs $15.00, it's relatively unconfigurable. All screen elements, widgets, folders, etc. have varying degrees of transparency... but it can't be changed. The horizontal carousel of the homescreens and the vertical rolling app tray are both attractive and easy to use, but... that's it. There are no other choices! The SPB weather widget is slick with the animated weather visual, but that's ALL it does. You can select multiple cities, but it won't auto-rotate among them. Even the stock weather widget on the GTab does that. There also doesn't seem to be a way to display the temperature in fahrenheit. There's more, but I think you get the idea.

Bottom line, it seems like just another launcher app to me. It's as fast as LauncherPro or Zeam, but less configurable than Go Launcher EX. Anyone else have experience with this? Is it actually more powerful and configurable than I'm giving it credit for? Maybe I just didn't spend enough time with it.

i use it and love it ...i use it in tablet form on my rezound makes icons smaller and i have more room on screens for icons

Mea culpa, I stand corrected! My friend from work saw this post and informs me that you can change the temp display to fahrenheit from Home Settings > Panels > Weather (AWA the units of measure for wind speed and atmospheric pressure). Everything else I said still stands though... and you can't change # of columns or rows, or remove labels beneath app shortcuts either. :p

And I never said it was ugly. :D
