Any suggestions? Stolen Android

My android was recently stolen. Let someone make a call and they robbed me! Here is the deal.. I did not have any anti theft on the phone yet as I only had it a week or so and was not used to having an android, nor did I think someone would rob me when I was trying to be a good person and help them out by letting them use it! Jeesh

I just noticed today that they must have accidently uploaded a video with it to youtube, however my phone defaulted to my channel and not there own. They must be using it with the wifi to connect online as the service is shut off. I filed a police report with a serial number but have not heared back at all from the cops. I know they are using it via wifi so I am hoping I still have some options.. I miss my android!

Are there any options I may have to recover the phone? On the video it just shows a kid dancing, but the parents are talking and they make the kid say his full name after his dancing.l Imagine my surprise when I log onto youtube and see this video it says I posted from my android.. that I do not have anymore lol

I also noticed they installed some free apps before my passord to the market was changed. Can I un install apps from my laptop? Or possibly instal a tracking app if the phone connects to a wifi network?

Thank you for you time and any suggestions in advance.

HMM.. I installed the plan b app successfully so it definately is connected to a wifi source. However I have not got a responce from gmail about the location so I am guessing they have the gps turned off, hopefully they turn it back on and I get something. Wish I could remote install something to overide the phone but pretty sure thats a before the fact type thing. The text from a friends phone is not an option as the phone no longer has a number, it appears they aer just downloading a bunch of stupid free apps on it.

I am gonna look around still and hope for a responce from plan b, its probably just me not wanting to let go but it seems if the phone is conected to a wifi network and being used I should have an option somewhere. Wishfull thinking probably

Thanks for the information, very helpfull! :)

First: Report the theft to the carrier and the police. The carrier can deactivate the phone and tell police where it is. If the guy who stole it tries to sell it, it wont work and you may even get it back.
