They weren't quite that colorful. I think they may have been males.

Lol. I have 17 spiders total, one is a Ravine Trapdoor spider, the rest are Ts.

I had no idea. I'm more into free range spiders. Eat them mosquitoes my Arachnid brothers. Spiders creep me out but I never kill them.

I have burrowers, land dwellers, and arboreals I have yet to actually witness the trap door eating though. But, I do get to clean up the remains so I know she does.

How many crickets per-serving?

It varies, I'm actually trying to get away from crickets but it seems sometimes they're just the easiest. I have 4 types of roaches, and mealworms/superworms as well as crickets

Dubia roaches are my favorites probably. They don't climb, fly, make noise, or stink.

Well, I've not tried it but, extremely easily. Ts are real fragile.

All joking aside though, I don't think I'd be able to keep a tarantula as a pet. Seeing the pictures just gives me the willies.

Docile as they may be, the sight of one of those furry arachnids sends chills up my spine

Kudos to you and those who keep them as pets!

Oh, they're not all docile! I got one I named Lorainne, after the saltiest teenager I know.
