Root any thoughts on USB OTG?

Has anybody tried (or succeeded) in getting OTG to work with the LG Volt?

First question - is it even physically possible (i.e. is the USB hardware capable of operating in host mode)?

Second question - are we talking about something simple like editing build.prop, adding an app, or something more sophisticated like a newly written kernel or ROM?

Of course it's possible, it's possible on anything with a USB port as long as it has means of transferring data. Our problem is I think we need to activate it in the kernel, so yes, we will need a custom kernel to use that feature.

while modding kernel (make menu) i seen an option in there to turn on OTG. I didnt though, as i just wanted to remake the defconfig. will try to get the kernel to support it though.
