Does anyone have any information on when a Beta version may be available? I've been holding out installing CM until something more stable is available.

Wouldn't the 3.0 kernel come out first before we really make the move to a beta version? I saw on the CM boards it was saying that they are heavily working on the 3.0 kernel which is the way to go I guess since the new ICS 4.0.4 came out with 3.0.8 kernel.

Beta just means a fixed feature set and more stable when compared to alpha. Obviously Release Candidates are even more stable and "stable" is the final outcome.
Adding a new kernel is a regression since it may fix issues, but also may introduce new ones so is a lot of troubleshooting and tweaking is required before a beta release can be achieved.
