Any tips on setting upo google voice?

I installed this, and it took over my droidx's calls. everything routed through it. I disabled it from it's menu, and it still took all my calls, and all my calls routed through it.

I finally uninstalled it, and I still had to go in and delete my phone from the website settings.

I'd like to have it available if I choose to use it.. the forums on it are a desert.. anyone here have any tips onb how to reinstall it and set it up properly?

Interestingly, I just re-flashed from the leaked 2.2 and applied the OTA update, reinstalled Google Voice and now it won't route any of my calls. The only prompt I received relative to call management was for international calling preferences (route all through GV, route none, ask). Previously, Voice would prompt me whether I wanted to use it for each call I made. :-/ Sorry this doesn't help your case, but thought it was funny that I have the exact opposite problem.
