Root Any using on AT&T?

I was just wondering if anyone has unlocked thier droid 3 and are using it on AT&T? If there is what kind of data speeds are you seeing and is it stable or do you have to continue to mess with the phone to get it to work?
 
Do you have the Verizon version or the unlocked version? AFAIK, the Verizon version will not work on AT&T. I think the intention was to use it abroad (Vodafone for example) and not be able to unlock to use on competing US carriers.
(I could be completely wrong though)
 
You must flash the XT883 radio image to the phone and make a few other tweaks, IIRC. Head over the XDA Dev section and poke around. Somewhere, there is a step-by-step walk through detailing how to get it up and running on a US GSM network.
