Root Any way out of this, stuck @ 4G Screen

I had issues trying to install a new ROM last night, then I thought everything was good but apparently not. I am currently stuck at start on the 4G screen. It acts like it is going to boot then just hangs up. I can't get into recovery either, it will go to the screen but then it asks if I want to update in there. If you click Yes is says Parsing.... then completes and needs a reset, if you click No same thing with the reset but it does nothing. Not sure if I am completely out of luck or not but I can't get into it at all.

The ICS ROM was getting installed and this took place in the middle of it. I'm not sure if the Image got written properly or what.

Can you get into recovery to flash your backup that i hope you made of your stock config after you rooted?

You did install a custom recovery correct?

The problem was I couldn't get anywhere once the phone started to boot up. I did a back-up but I'm not even seeing that now. I did get the phone to finally boot. I pulled the SD Card, did a wipe/factory reset, re-installed the SD card and went into recovery. Once in there is still asked to if I wanted to update so i thought I was done for. This time around a downloading screen popped up and it updated all the files needed then rebooted and ICS is on and working.

I'm assuming a file didn't load right the first time and this is what locked me out from getting anywhere. I am a little concerned because I do not know if a backup was successfully done. If I were to do a wipe and reset back to factory settings would it revert back to what originally came with the Rezound or has it completely been over-written by the new ROM? I have been messing with it for a little now setting up everything and not sure I care for ICS. I don't like the widgets and for some reason Beats isn't working properly and I use my music on here a lot. Also noticed a lot of pics aren't showing on the SD card anymore as well. I will be messing with it for a little but so far I'm not to impressed with ICS. Maybe I just got to use to the stock ROM.

When flashing ANY ICS ROM I get a lock up at the Verizon boot animation and I have to do a battery pull. After that it does everything without issue. Just as a side note, you should always do a wipe cache/data between ROMs. Unless specifically noted by the dev.

I am familiar with flashing new ROM's but no expert obviously. I do know to wiper and clear, etc. The problem I ran into was I had a problem with the custom recovery and had to re-do it. Not sure what the issue was but it would not attach through the bootloader. Once that got sorted and the phone rebooted, it went into installing ICS and said complete. Afterwards however upon reboot it came up saying files need updated, update yes/no but whichever one you hit it would just say complete and no matter how many battery pulls or anything it would not get back the 4G boot screen. ICS is on now but I do not know if the original backup held its place because it seems several things are missing on my sdcard. Not sure whats going on. Beats is there and saying it is activated but I get no extra effect when listening turned on or off. The stock music app works fine if I go into the apps and select it but the widget is junk (I liked the stock ROM's set up for this). I'm still messing with it but a lot of things just seem toned back, even the calender widget is small. Not sure how I feel about this system.

For some reason after the wipe and clear it seems I am missing several things off my sdcard and I have no idea why. SMS Backup is no longer there as well as some pics and other little odds and ends.
