Help any way to access files and folders without astro file manager?

in the samsung galaxy s3 app page, theres a file called "my files" where i can access files and folders that i create when usb it with my computer. withthe htc sensation i cant find anything like that. i connect the sensation to my laptop, but files in there that i want, but i dont even know where to go to access them!
 
I am not sure I understand your question but I will try.

When the HTC is connected to the laptop make sure you choose "Disk Drive" as the connection type. Then you can see all of the files listed as an external drive using Windows Explorer (note NOR Internet Explorer).

As for looking at you files why not use Astro?? It works for me and enable me to see all my files.
