Accessories Any way to know if magnetic case effects Moto X Pure??

I remember back when I had one of my early Droids, that the magnetic flap on my holster, was enough to trip the Droid into thinking it was on the Car Mount, so, it would keep going in and out of Car Mount mode when I put it in my holster, that had a magnetic flap.

Is there any way to find out ahead of release if the Moto X Pure has any effect from magnets, so, I need to avoid a holster with a magnetic flap or not??
 
You could look for Moto X Pure "Hands-on" reviews and videos then ask the posters if they could try a magnetic case for you. Some websites and web posters get pre-release versions of phones which usually are what actually is released. Honestly though it's a long shot.

Until you posted your question and I did some research I had no idea Moto devices were having this problem. Personally I prefer Samsung and HTC devices. I've never had a Moto device.
 
I haven't had that issue since I retired my original Motorola Droid. Then again, I haven't had a Motorola phone since then. But I would think that issue would be resolved. Besides, I do notexpect a proprietary car mount for the MX Pure: therefore, there is no reason for me to suspect that this feature would even be on the device to be activated. Like Bobby said, though, time will tell. 10 days to go!
 
I haven't had a case with magnetic flap since the original droid. But, with this one, I'm again considering a basic pouch type holster, that many use a magnetic flap. So, yeah, we'll see soon.
