Help Any way to make the "clear" button bigger on dropdown menu?

one thing that annoys me is that the clear button for message notification is relatively small. Right above it sits a huge wifi button which brings you to the wifi selection screen. And of course below the small clear button is your message or other notification.

When I pull down the menu, the most common button that I want to hit is the clear button, yet it is the smallest object. I often hit the wifi or message by accident and it's a bit of a PITA.

Is there any way to adjust this or configure it differently?

I only hit the other buttons by accident if I'm holding the phone in one hand or try to do it quickly. (though this is quite often)

If I'm going to bother to take the s-pen out, I'm taking even more time to hit the button than if I was just more careful with my finger.

Yeah, I don't blame you (or any user) for wanting things to go as quickly as possible with these devices.

My fingers are what got me to hope for bigger screens, bigger phones and bigger buttons (hard and soft buttons).

When the Note 2 came out, all those issues were instantly resolved for me. I save more time using that for screen activity than slowing down and being real careful. ;)

Sometime I think they did it on purpose. I cannot count how many times I have gone into mail app or Play app just because I want to clear them.

You can swipe each notification to clear it. Only applies to the ones below the clear button. This also helps if you want to keep one or two of them.

I wasn't aware of that, thanks for the tip. helps somewhat. Though I would still like a larger clear button

I didn't know that either! :p Thanks! It is kind of fun actually to swipe to get rid of them.

No problem. I was showed that little trick a few weeks ago, I use it all the time now as I generally want to keep at least one or two notifications there for reminders, but want to clean up the updates and such.
