HTC now puts their camera app officially available on the app store.
But the app store says my EVO 4G LTE is not capable of installing the app.
Any suggestions on getting the HTC camera apk to work on our older phones? I love running cyanogenmod 12, Android 5.0.0.2, but the default camera app is missing so many features that I like from HTC.
Particularly I want a camera app that has a button to take a picture, and another button to record video, so you don't have to fumble around in the menu to switch between. Also I like the ability to take pictures during video recording, and the easy burst shots by just holding down the shutter.
I tried many aftermarket cameras but none were as easy/useful as the stock HTC in view of needing these features, so it would be ideal to just pull off the HTC camera app from my existing phone, and then install Cyanogenmod 12, and then somehow install the HTC camera app onto it.
