Any word on Australia 2.1 update

Any one heard of any word on GT540 update. Can't even access app store in Australia

The 2.1 update for the Android handset is still undergoing testing for Australian LG handsets to ensure all bugs and issues have been resolved prior to release. It should be released within the coming month.

I just bought this y'day from Vodafone shop and App Store access was fine out of the box with 1.6. Updated to Baltic 2.1 and App Store is fine still.
