Root Any word on root access?

So the Droids been rooted but I guess the same exploit doesn't work for the Milestone, maybe someone a bit more knowledgeable could explain why

Anyone know if someone's working on this and if there's some good ol' root to be had soon?

The same exploit should work, from my understanding they need an official update to get the correct keys, so that the phone will accept a modified update.zip file.
