Help Anymore Updates?

So im sure this has been answred a thousand times, but is there going to be anymore updates or am i screwed? Im not rooted anymore and i have the latest update and my gps STILL doesnt work.Everytime i use navigation, i always get "searching for gps". Also now im losing background data connection i guess? I have to uncheck then recheck the BG data under accounts. Is there anything that can help me besides buying the Bionic?

Hold tight. There will be another update soon. Although how soon is anyone's guess. They have to add in a fix for the security issues so it is probably slowing them down.
 
Are you sure you want another update since the updates to fix the previous updates only seem to break something that needs to be fixed from the next update...

It isn't your nightmare update, it's the one after that.....
 
I'm sure more updates will come likely 6 months to a year from now you can finally get the upgrade to ICS
 
So I'm better off buying the Bionic? Lol

Well apparently since there isn't going to be a update anytime soon, if there a way to fix my issues? The background data lose pisses me off mostly. I won't receive FB notifications, emails, or text messages when I lose BG data.

Wait. I'm still on 2.2.1. That's still froyo right? Why when I check software update, it says i'm up to date? Gingerbread is out, correct?

And now i can't get or send out text. I can use fb, browse the internet, everything but texting. da hell is that? lol
