anyone awake? need some help rooting

hi people. i'm trying "Wolfs ultimate flash and downgrade guide" for rooting without unlocking, and i have some questions.
please help. nothing broken, yet, but...

stick to xda since other websites most likely dont know what they are doing. they just take some one elses findings and ther instructions are not as good as the original instructions. follow the steps here:Wolf's ultimate flash and downgrade guide (NO ROOT NEEDED) (root opportunity for .21) - xda-developers read the whole first post first and use method 2.

That's what I was trying to use. I got it, thank you. I found a 1 click downgrade method on XDA.
