Well raverx3x did say if he bricked the phone he can unbrick it but i dont know

But with the phone in download mode ...cant we use odin and install the stock metropcs (factory restore)

That's the point lol. As long as you can get it in download mode a hard bricked phone can be revived
This not the best solution, but i put my first one in a bootloop for a couple months and thought it was dead. I bought a new one and rooted it, flashed cwm and made a backup of the rom, then took the sd card and put it in the bootlooped phone and flashed the backup. Fired right up. My son is using it now. Not the best solution, but it worked. Hope it helps. Im Trying to get someone to make a backup for an lg l45c now to see if i can get a friends phone to work the same way. good luck.
