Help Anyone else have sms issues today?

I noticed my phone was acting strange before work today...the data was very slow and my widgets wouldn't load right. But I blew it off because it was nothing new/i had to work.
Later into my shift I sent a text and checked back in about 10 mins and it was still "sending" and I got the message not sent notification as soon as I unlocked the phone.i had to resend 4 times till it finally went through. This continued for a solid 3 hours tonight.
I'm wondering if it was a network thing or just my phone?
Any input?

I didn't receive a bunch of sms messages yesterday afternoon. Later that night everything was working fine. So maybe it was some network issues.

I guess it was...it seemed to be fine when I got off work last night and still is now. I'm gonna keep hoping these issues are them preparing stuff for the gingerbread update lol

I was going to get rid of it but i still have mine(waiting on the Droid Charge from VZW)
but this phone seems like there is delays in receiving text msg

I have no issues. Although once in a while my girlfriend wont receive my texts until an hour later or so. But that is very seldom.

This was the first I've experienced any sms issues...i didn't have any problems with it today either.
Guess it was just a hiccup in service.
Either way it made me really angry.
