My phone model is MS769 Optimus L9 (metro)
For some reason my phone has developed this problem that factory restoring/unrooting doesn't fix. Basically, the home button doesn't respond or work with a simple click when trying to awake the phone from being on idle/sleep. The home button has to be clicked multiple times or held for like 2 seconds until the screen turns on. This happens when the phone has been non awake for 15 seconds I am guessing, like a little bit of time after the phone screen has been turned off. Other than that overall, the home button is fully functional. It's just that when the phone hasn't been awake for a good 10-15 seconds or more, the home button doesn't respond to a simple click, it has to be held for a few seconds in order the see the screen light up or turn on after it's been to sleep. Does anyone else have this with their button? Also, is it normal?
I do notice it happened after I rooted the phone an downloaded some apps. I also notice the phone has this lag when turning on the screen from both the power side button and home button after being in sleep/idle for 10 or more seconds, like you see the touch sensitive back and menu keys light up before the whole screen does, like a few second delay to see the screen turn on after pressing the buttons, and I think maybe it has something to do with the home button issue I was talking about in the first paragraph, like maybe the phone doesn't respond fast enough to the click of the home button, which requires the button to be held for a few seconds. None of these issues happen when it's on the charger.
Could it have something to do with the v10e OTA update software that made the button do this for a reason?
