Help Anyone else with Syndicate Frozen having this problem?

Not sure if it is a known bug.. I already completle restored to eclair, switched to EB13, clockwor, wipe wipe wipe and installed syndicate rom frozen (the newest version I think) and everything is working wonderfully but if I connect my phone to my computer and open up the SD card and create a folder and dump some .pdfs I can read them fine in documents to go or whatever but when I turn the phone off and then on again all that folder is deleted.

Whats up with this?!

I've read almost the whole SRF thread on XDA and this is the first I've heard of this. Possible ideas:

1. What are you calling this folder?
2. Where exactly is it (root of SD card, or where?)
3. You could try making a subfolder in the "media" folder and I'm guessing it would keep from there.

We'll go back and forth a few more times and if we can't figure it out, I suggest taking to the XDA forum and posting it over there.

Hi, thabks for the quick reply. I'm not at home at the moment so I can't try that but what I did try was to create the folder in the phone with astro and that folder worked. The folder was still there when I turned the phone on and off but the contents o the folders still dissapeared

ok back home, yeah I went to the xda forums and posted the same thing on the epic board over there.

To answer your question, the folder was in root. It's very strange

Ok this is what I am trying to do.. since I have the bad habit of sometimes removing the sd card without unmounting and things like that, maybe something was corrupted or I dont know.. so I put all the contents of my sd card on my desktop and deleted the volume, put the card inside the phone and the phone detected a corrupted sd card so it reformated it. Now I put the sd card back on the computer and transfered all the files back to the sd card to have the phone the way it used to be.

Lets see if this somehow fixes it

To answer your other questions, I was trying to name the folder "Documents" or "Docs" in the root of the sdcard.

I also put alot of pictures in the default folder for the cammera gallery in the sd card and those work fine, so yeah, files that I put on folders that have already been made apparently dont get deleted but newer files do.. my phone is going all "Memento" on me... sigh.

Nope, even after all that, folders I create in my computer are automaticaly deleted once the phone reboots...wtf?

Alright, last update.. I am now officialy sure it's not the sdcard because I tried with another sdcard I had lying around here and the same thing happens. I am officialy begging for help
