Anyone else with wifi problems with Galaxy Centura?

Since I got my Centura from Straight Talk in May it continues to give me a hard time with WIFI........ To the point that I only use the 3G..... and have for the past few months!

Seems that it will connect to my home wifi but then the "wifi" thing at the top of the screen, near the battery and digital clock will either remain gray, or sometimes blue, but ALWAYS has an arrow blinking up (as if it's uploading or communicating with the router).

I've even tried other wifi routers a home and other locations and get the same thing!

I also thought that maybe it's trying to update something or needs to communicate with the internet via wifi (vs. 3G) so I left the wifi on all day/night (and it was connected) but it still acted the same....

WIFI just doesn't seem to work.

Anyone else with this problem........ Or anyone with a solution??? I'd love to be able to download apps without worrying about hitting my 2GB Straight Talk monthly limit.

Thank you.

Are you saying it doesnt connect to the internet? Blue bars means you are connected to google services while grey means you arent. But you should have internet access either way.

No it doesn't seem to connect to the internet via wifi.................. at least not well that I remember.

Even though all my bars show in wifi (most of the time).... Sometimes blue, but most of the time gray, the dang thing can't download my gmails most of the time when on wifi.

What's the darn arrow that's in the wifi bars at the top of the screen? It's like it's always sending or receiving, but I'm not sure.

And I'm sitting with 10 feet of my wifi router.

Seems like it would be a much faster connection vs my 3G that most of the time only has 1 bar showing.

I'd really like to get this wifi to work properly.

Thanks.
