Anyone ever use bodyguardz?

It looks pretty cool, but read the description carefully. This is a thin piece of PVC plastic textured to look like carbon fiber.

Being thin, I have to wonder how much protection it will provide against the sudden stop at the end of a drop.

Good point. I do need a case soon though because as light as this is, I know I may let it slip a couple times.

Looks convincing however I am more interested in protection for when you drop the phone. These skins won't protect as well as TPU cases in the event you drop it.

I have used something similar to this (skinomi) and I didn't like it. I loved the way it looked. But the edges were a bit sharp and caught all kinds of lint. It constantly made my phone look dirty. I ended up taking it off. Like all the skins/cases I buy. I just prefer to go commando. As far as protect goes, I dropped my D3 with the skinomi on it and it scratched right through. Not only was the skinomi ruined but I had a nice dent and scratch in my phone.

Good to know. I was thinking of putting a clear diztronic type cover on it.
