Has anyone gotten their Gear VR

I just checked my status

Submission Approved. Preparing for Shipment.
Shipping Date Estimate: 4/1/2016

April 1st has come and gone. Was that some kind of April Fool's Joke?
 
I didn't get the VR... But my S2 Watch from VZW was supposed to ship 4/8/2016, but actually shipped on 4/1/2016, arrived 4/6/2016
 
Mine had a shipping date of April 1st and it actually came right around April 1st. Didn't get a tracking email until after I received it.
 
Got mine and I have to say it's pretty cool. I really like cinema mode for TV shows and movies. Just got a BT controller to try out some games. Mine said it would ship April 1st. I was out of town with the family, we got back on the 2nd and it was there waiting for me

When did you submit your request for the VZW watch? I submitted two on 3/11 and my shipping estimate still shows Pending. I got an email on 4/7 confirming that the submission was approved, and included this text:
Please note that due to the high level of interest in the
Verizon Offer promotion, delivery times for Gear S2 are now extending into
May and potentially Summer 2016.​

I got a confirmation that my order was in process but since it's such a hot item they said I might get them til late June 2016. So...around summer time I guess, lol
 
I got mine awhile back. I received my Edge a couple of days before release date which helped when I sent in the claim. It's pretty freaking cool so far. Although I would like a controller to test other games. Also, a swivel chair would be nice too.
Very looking forward to Paranormal Activity game this Summer. Just might s*&^ my pants playing that.
 
I preordered mine through Sprint a lot because of the free VR bundle. My phone came on launch day as expected but never heard anything about the VR. I contacted Sprint last week and they said I had to order in a certain time frame (I did) and that the promo ended. I said I understand that but I ordered in the time window. They looked it up and saw I did order but basically told me I'm screwed and sent me a case. So instead of the $130 VR I got a $30 case. They were very quick to give me the disclaimer that it was "While supplies last."
 
Update: The website now says mine has been processed and is in route. No email with tracking number, but at least it doesn't say sometime this summer anymore.

My status also changed to 'in route' but no tracking email. If they use UPS or FedEx I'll get email from them when they pickup so have to wait and watch!
 
I got mine the day I picked up the phone with a free 32g card at best buy when I pre ordered...it is ok but it makes me a little dizzy...I was thinking off selling it not sure yet

Got the phone on opening day,filled out the form about a week later.
Got a ship date of 4/30/16,& didn't bother checking for any updates,why bother at this juncture,right?
Well,I was more than surprised to find mine @ my doorstep when I got home last night,a full two weeks before the quoted ship date.
 
Those of you who received your VR's/Gear's, who was the carrier they used for the delivery? Will help to keep an eye out for them since most carriers don't bother to knock or ring anymore!
 
For the people who did the BOGO event for your carrier and got two Gear VR's, if you sold your second one, how much did you sell it for? I'm planning on posting my second one on craigslist but not sure how much. Keeping it sealed for factory new condition.

I wish they sent me the $100 Samsung credit offer. Looks like I submitted my claim too early for that offer though.

Sent an email to get more detailed shipping status - pretty sure the website is updated by folks not from the Continental USA...or are fluent in the English language.

I received no notice whatsoever,until AFTER it delivered,4 days later no less. :rolleyes:
An e-mail for a tracking number is a good call,hopefully they'll be mindful enough to give you notice BEFORE it ships......

No tracking email from the shipper but got an email notification from FedEx yesterday that they picked up a package from Indiana that will arrive tomorrow, so presume those are my Gear S2's. Creating accounts on FedEx and UPS has really been useful for stuff like this!!
