Anyone getting Playstation+

Damn, I wasn't aware of the 4 free games - that alone is worth it!

No 4 games EVERY MONTH

I have cheated a little with the price, as it's $49.99 if you buy it on the PSN Store, but I suspect you can buy cards cheaper online like you can in Europe. I can get

Signed up at launch and so far VERY impressed. All those games for a flat 50Euro, it's a nobrainer really, but the added features like Autoupdate is really good, no more having to patch games when you want to play them, the PS3 turns on every night checks for updates, downloads, installs them, and then turns off again.

The games is the real seller for me, 4Euro for 4 games every month, games that I may not have otherwise looked at is really cool. I also like the 1hr trial of all PSN content, no need for specific demos, if I like the game, I can buy it at discount and unlock it.

Sweet...

They are not really free games, but pretty darn close to it. OK you don't get to choose what you get and when, but for the price, I don't care. I don't care that I already have some of the content on offer, as that is only a short-term problem, as whilst I have PS+ I won't be spending as much on PSN content, merely sampling what they give for for "free".

You only have them as long as you have the service though. I wont be buying it as i have everything i need (free online) with the basic service

That is true, but as you move along you won't be playing the older game anyway. If there is anything you absolutely need to keep if you cancel the yearly service, you can buy it at the discounted rate before you cancel (the discounted 50% content is not locked into the subscription model).

I did consider that the longer you stay with it, the more "free" content you accumulate, the harder it is to leave aspect, but I don't think that will be the case, for reasons I mentioned above, games will "fall off the radar" each month when new ones come along.
