Help anyone got this wifi problem?

sometimes when i try to turn wifi on from the notification bar it dosent work when i go to wifi settings and try to turn it on it says error and it dosent work again unless i restart the phone :mad:
 
Try doing a factory reset as ur problem is not normal... if it didn't wrk then go to the service center and get ur phone replaced...

well i already did a factory settings reset before and i bought the phone from another country :(
 
i got this problem on my ace too..
restarting your phone should worked..
but, it doesn't exactly make your wi-fi not gonna do it again :D
at least you can use your wi-fi after restarting it..

i know that it works after restarting but i want to know how to fix that
 
I'm having this problem too...always have to restart the phone in order to turn on thw WiFi.
I have no ideia what the problem is but it is annoying. Anyone has a clue? :confused:
 
Mine has just started doing this today about 2 hours ago...why it was working fine until now.

Ive only had the phone almost a week...its brill by the way..oh and hi.:D
 
Hey guys,

I faced the same issue with my ace.... And i figured it out why.... I have Juice Defender installed which was preventing Wifi from turning on... just change the profile on juice defender and it should be fine....

I don't have Juice installed and I have this problem also so it has nothing to do with Juice.
*#*#526#*#* resolves the problem temporarily...
 
I've had this phone for less than a week, and I experienced this on the 3rd day after I bought this phone. I had to reboot the phone, then the wifi error was gone. But on that same day, when I got home from work, the wifi was not able to connect to my home network, it kept on scanning, but wasn't able to detect any network at all. My PC was running fine, connected wirelessly to my home network, so the problem is definitely with the samsung galaxy ace.

I will try *#*#526#*#* the next time this occurs and see if it fixes these issues.
 
Got the problem on wifi connectivity. Initial solution is to reboot wifi modem which is troublesome. The solution -> installed a wifi OnOff widget from curve fish. Once connected, just use the widget to on/off the wifi connectivity whenever going out of the wifi hotspots. Works good enough for myself...

i also hv this problem..wifi error..

This happened to me today. It just turns immediately off. My battery was low so I thought it was a firmware thing that keeps wifi off at low battery.

I'll keep an eye before I make judgements, thanks for pointing that out.
 
Thanks a lot...till the fix comes *#*#256#*#* works...its really helpfull..atleast without restarting the phone it works...very nice...thanks a ton again.
 
hello i have had problem with my wifi as well but i found tini application which is helping me a lot. now it is working on 80% at least. :-) the applicati
on is on market called: wifi fixer.
go try it
