Help anyone has a copy of metro movie player.apk i can use?

Ok, I used MikeStoolz Bloater Removal and forgot to first back up the apks, thinking they'd be in the metro app store anyways, should I ever need them. Well, my gf wants to watch the IronMan 2 movie, but I don't have the player anymore, and it's not in the app store. Anybody didn't make my mistake and still have it, or know where I can find a working copy?
 
I attached it to this post, and I haven't ran mike's removal script yet, but you should check and see if you still have a copy in your /system/app folder anyway. Not sure if that's where file got removed from in the script or if that's just a directory where the bloatware/factory apps are backed up to...but that's where I found a copy

Huh? I was saying I don't have the player so I can watch it normally,i wasn't thinking about getting it from online, since I have the data still on the sd card.. .
Although.i do see your point.

Says unkown when I try to download the apk "not supported by this phone" I must lost something monkeying around with it. I did have to do a factory reset, maybe lost something in the shuffle. Dunno?o_O
 
Open up this page on your phone and download the .apk file I attached to my post above...and then run it. You should have the movie player back now.

Um yeah I did the same thing about a week ago, no luck on getting it back I even manually put it back my phone won't see it.......so good luck with that. :-)

Did you try downloading the file to your computer, and then copying the apk file to your phone over USB...and then launching it with the My Files app? If that doesn't do the trick, download ES File Explorer from the market, and then navigate to the .apk file and run it with that.
 
I haven't the slightest idea. I wouldn't mind having a copy of it myself.
Shoot, I would even be happy to settle for IronMan 3!!! ;)

Why can't I download this my phone says its unknown and can't download I even downloaded it to my pc and then transferd it to my phone still no dice! What gives? I know I could buy iron man 2 and stick it on my phone but its on here already and I want to watch it at work but I can't without this apk...... ugh! Bla bla bla bla and so on rant rant rant #$#@%$%$@!!!!
 
That's part of the spoils of war, my friend.
This is why you MUST be very careful when rooting and make sure you know what you are doing/read the instructions.
However, I still don't understand why the file would not work for you. I mean, it's meant for the phone and I can confirm it works just fine that way since I added it to my phone after I myself deleted it.
Are you sure you are not blocking outside market apks from being installed?
Just try to see if you can correctly and easily install an apk from Android Freeware: Best and Free Software for Android mobile platform
If that works, please post your device firmware version here, so I can compare with mine and see if there are any changes.
 
im guessing i would have to move back the video file on my sdcard like it was on the old sd card? hey tiede i might of found something on about that decrypter we assumed metro was using on this phone u noticed on the iron man 2 menu screen on the bottom it has a sv lil logo well i googled that and found this. im not sure if this is what they are using but could be a clue to newest technology they have access to.

LOL Thats my feels are exactly the same!!! WHy would I buy it when I already have it...I think a;lot of people feel that way. I liked the movie andt Im not crazy over it, BUT i MUST get the movie onto my sd card and I want rest until i do!!
