Have you used dsixda's android kitchen? Because this is a file I need for the program for it to make it point to the right mount points so the zip won't fail in cwm, I just need to know if these are the right points because this device is not supported yet

I use it quite often, but I manually edit the updater-script for the partitions that are needed. ;)

AK sux at creating a updater-script for anything other than mtd (OLD SHYT) devices.

I would suggest downloading a working Rom for your device, cracking open the updater script, and comparing it to yours

For bonus points, ask the dev for permission, most don't mind and enjoy helping new people:D

+1 and I dont care if you use mine ;), it will prolly be diff than what is needed for ics tho. ;)

One from cm9 would prolly be best.

Can you recommend any good guides on how to write updater scripts?

i learned the ways of updater scripts by comparing 2 or 3 by different devs... make sure yours does the same as theirs.. but type it all instead of copy/paste.. after a little while youll get the hang of it..
