Anyone have experience with WireFly?

When I first got Verizon in 2011, I went through Amazon Wireless and used their $.01 deals to get a Droid 2. Not even a year later, I got an iPhone 4 through Craigslist, and that's the phone I have now.

I want to get a Samsung Galaxy Note II. Both Amazon Wireless and WireFly have them for $199.99, about a $100 less than going through Verizon which is lovely. I'd normally go with Amazon, but WireFly ships with FedEx... and FedEx ships on Saturday, so if I pay an extra $20, I'll be able to get my phone before I go back to work Monday morning.

I've never dealt with WireFly before though. Are they good? Any complaints?

It was a while ago, but I bought a device from Wirefly in 2010. Application is a little in depth, asking for driver's license info and what not. I'm guessing it's to call up Verizon to verify accounts? Either way, the process to approve the subsidy took about a day, and shipping took 2 days coming from Maryland to NYS. No complaints otherwise.

Got a specific question that I can answer for you? I'm here to help if you need it....

Yeah... I want to know if I order a Note 2 through Wirefly tomorrow morning (have to wait until paycheck gets direct desposited), and pay the extra $19.99 for overnight shipping, will it arrive on Saturday?

I e-mailed customer support, and they got back to me quickly which was nice. They said FedEx doesn't ship for Wirefly on Saturdays or Sundays, so if I pay for overnight shipping, it won't arrive until Monday. However, FedEx only ships Tuesdays-Saturdays, so I was a bit confused by that.

The answer you got is correct. Unfortunately, our shipping contract with FedEx does not allow for Saturday delivery. Therefore, paying $19.99 for Next Business Day Shipping, means your phone would be delivered on Monday, and not Saturday. Let me know if you have any other questions that I can answer for you....

Wirefly, a hypothetical for you.

If my MetroPCS LG Spirit from you were to die and the moisture indicators were fine would the warrantyreplacement be handled by Wifefly or would I have to go to LG or are you considered a Metro store and I could return the phone to a Metro store?

One of those not so little things I've been curious about. ;)

PS Nice to see you here in the forum. <Thumbs up!>

Hey! Great question! As an authorized retailer, we have agreements with the carriers to honor all manufacturer warranty claims. So you can go to your local Metro Store and they can assist you with a warranty claim. :)

Let me know if there is anything else that I can answer for you!

Well I'll be damned WF, I don't even need it but that's the best news I've heard all week.

That of course, also explains how Metro's rebates also count with your phones.
(Though I do find it perplexing that Metro isn't so forthcoming with you being an Authorized Retailer. They've danced all around that exact question and simply said you're good for the rebate...)

I hadn't seen your answer. I had to look for the post to see IF you'd answered it. It's nice having you here and you responding as you do, Thanks. I am a member of Fountain Pen Network and there are a couple brands with members representing them there. It is VERY helpful.
