Anyone having trouble w/ auto brightness not working correctly?

ATT Carrier - Personally have been in situations that even though Auto brightness is selected.. I will manually up the brightness to suffice my desired brightness. Sometimes it works properly and sometimes not. I do like the phone though.

Yes and I hate it. Everytime I unlock my phone it gets dimmed.
