Anyone here familiar with winches and how they are wired?

I bought a Jeep last week and it came with an 8500lb 12V SuperWinch on the front. The problem is it didn't come with a controller. It takes a 3-pin controller which from my understanding are no longer made.

I have been looking to get a wireless controller, but everything I have found is for a 5 or 7 pin winch. Does anyone know of a good solution or if I can rig the wiring somehow to make it work on my winch?

I am good with wiring and can probably figure out the connections via trial and error, I just am not familiar with winches at all and don't want to break the winch. I have been searching all over the Internet today and can't find any good answers. Any input would be greatly appreciated!

Go to a jeep forum and ask them. You have a better chance of finding your answer there and might be able to find a controler for it.

That is the first one I have seen in stock!

I really am looking for a wireless solution. I can do all the wiring if I can figure out something that will work with my winch. I may not be able to go the wireless route though due to the age of my winch
