Anyone into firearms? Post some pics

That's why you move out of cali =P

Tapatalk. Samsung Moment. Yep.

Haha no kidding. I had a great set up here until the timber industry collapsed... but I think as soon as I'm out of school it's time to find another state.

Thanks fellas. I have a 'few' not pictured including some things I'm not at liberty to photograph as well as a few things 'on order' that I can't wait for. Just added a couple more handguns today:

Exactly. I can't tell you how close I was to moving to SoCal WAY back in the day (mid 90's) and if I had I woulda moved the hell out of there LONG ago. Get away man. I'm considering a move to AZ if it wasn't so damn hot in the summer. I can't convince the wife to have a place in AK for the summer. Too cold for her.

AZ is great! It's hot for a few months out of the year, the other 8-9 months it's 70 degrees all day. Plus you can get your hands on any gun you could ever dream of out here. :D

Nope.

What's the one at bottom-right that has (what seems like) a silencer? Looks like a sniper rifle.

That is an AR10/LR308 which is basically a larger platform AR15 that is based on the .308 Winchester/7.62 NATO round. It is suppressed.

For the record most people don't like the term 'sniper rifle' as this is a very loose definition. The rifles on the top left corner are closer to what a sniper would use in the military though. They are Sako TRG's and are used in the field by many snipers in various military groups around the world. The top one is a TRG-42 which is chambered in .338 Lapua Magnum and just set the world record for distance shot when a British sniper used it to put down two Tali ban combatants from a distance of 2,707yds. It has more energy at 1,300yds (about 3/4 of a mile) than a .44 magnum does at the muzzle. One TRG is wearing a Schmidt & Bender optic and the other one is a US Optic.
