Anyone know how to keep a custom text message theme?

Anytime I've changed the theme on a text message (individual contact) it goes back to the default sky theme when I delete the thread. Is there any way I can make it permanent?

In the main messaging screen that shows all your conversations you can the background settings for all messages, but I don't see a way to hold individual thread settings after they are deleted.

I had this same problem but today I did something in what you said above and now all messages (single and multi) use the new settings.

Yea if you set it in the main message screen it stays. If you set the individual message it resets when you delete the message
