Anyone lose their SD card after 4.1.2 update?

I updated my RAZR MAXX HD three days ago to 4.1.2 via OTA and everything seemed to work well, no problems with the SD card. Listened to music (on the SD card) and even did some file transfers last night from Internal storage to the SD card with no issues. This morning all of the sudden I get an error message saying "SD card unexpectedly stopped working. Unmount before" something. The card appears to be fried. Bummer. Sandisk 32 gb, two color (red/black) card.

I did a quick search here and a guy over on the Note 2 forum had the same problem. Not sure if it's directly related to the 4.1.2 update but funny that it's happened elsewhere. Just posting in case it happens to someone else they can find this thread.

Yes, It happened this morning after I updated Yesterday. The only option I was given was to format the card. I only had about a dozen pictures and now they are gone. Anyone suggest what I should do when the next update comes along?

Was it the class 6 card? I had the same one but it never really worked for me. The card just never played right with my Droid X or my RMHD. My brother's GS3 worked just fine with it. There was a thread about it here before, where me and a couple other people I think were saying it had issues.

I believe mine was a class 6 card. Although based on Earnoldo's reply I guess it might not make a difference. I replaced it today with the same card he has, the SanDisk Ultra 32 GB class 10. I only really use it to store my personal music files (which are replaceable) and to store streamed music for offline play (also replaceable) so no great loss for me. More of an annoyance. I'm really glad I never had any apps installed onto the SD card thought. That could have been a bigger pain.
