They have shipments arriving weekly if not more than once a week. So based on their outstanding orders and incomming shipments they change the ship by date almost daily. Keep in mind all of these phones are imported, and depending on where they are shipping from it is going to take them 30 to 45 days to get over the water (I highly doubt they are flying them) if all goes without any delays. So the phones that are arriving today were probably ordered/shipped nearly 1.5 months ago. This is one of my guesses as to why the ship date changes and/or why your ship date is ahead of their 'ship by' date.

FWIW I ordered on 7/27 and FedEx is delivering 8/3. Also next day delivery really means 2 business days. Overnight would mean you get it tomorrow if you ordered today.

It seems like online is a little quicker. We ordered one via an upgrade on Wednesday the 28th through the phone with Telesales. Then ordered another one at full retail on the VZW website at 6pm Thursday the 29th. The one ordered online Thursday has shipped and scheduled for delivery tomorrow. The one ordered through Telesales on Wednesday hasn't even shipped yet. Very odd and disappointing.

Ordered 2 X's on Friday 7/30 at a local Verizon store, called in tonight they showed it shipping tomorrow 8/3 so I'm gonna guess a late Wednesday or Thursday launch.

Im located in the south west of the country, Arizona to be more exact. Smexy to say the least!

Well the email saying your phone will ship in 2 days was a generic default message. So after ordering on the 30th it still looks like the 13th as Verizon originally estimated (to rochester ny). My touch pro 2 will be happy to get an extra 2 weeks to frustrate me....

I ordered mine on 7/30 online in the morning (it shoed will be shipped by 8/11) got my FedEx confirmation e-mail on Sunday and it is out on the truck to be delivered right now. Needless to say I am ready to shut down my TP2 for good! Can't wait, not sure I will get much work done today!

I ordered online on 7/28 at noon. Their website still hasn't updated. I called the "Internet Support Team" this morning and Vince assured me that just like the website said when I ordered 8/4 would be the ship date (today). Just got the email that my new "estimated" ship date is 8/19!
