Anyone recently order the GSM Developer Edition?

Placed my order yesterday and even though it says the phone is in stock, it says that due to high demand it may take up to 7 days to ship.

Just wondering if the 7 days is consistent with what you guys experienced when you ordered.

Motorola has serious issue with putting phones into boxes.

Back in Sept I ordered the t-mobile version and it was "in-stock" with free 2-day shipping. It took about 7 days heh.

I have heard almost the exact same story from anyone buying direct.

But the thing is the phone is awesome.

i ordered mine (direct) on 11/20 and had it in my hand 11/26. maybe they are getting better.

Well, good news. Mine shipped yesterday and I will have on Monday.
