How good is it? What if you are already unlocked and rooted?

Seems like a good idea but the desktop side is Windows only at the moment so I won't be testing any time soon

I used it on my Google Edition Galaxy S4, and it was just like everyone says... smooth as silk flawless install. I didn't do anything but click the Start button on the PC installer. The software did all the rest.

1: Backup what you need from your phone to your PC.
2: Ensure that your PC has the drivers needed for your phone
3: Ensure that you use the USB cable that came with your phone and plug your phone into your Windows 7/8 PC.
4: Enable USB Debugging from the settings on your phone
5: Install the CyanogenMod Installer from the Play Store to your phone (just install it, don't open it).
6: Download the CyanogenMod Installer msi file to the desktop on your PC
7: When you're ready, click the installer on your desktop and then follow the prompts.

That's all.

The thing is its only for supported devices meaning less then 10% of the phones allready running cm i dont c how this helps
