Yes, I just bought a new Honor play smartphone. It has the latest technologies like AI, camera quality sensors, etc. It is the best gaming smartphone that can be used for playing heavy games on a smartphone.

I'm so sorry for you.. the timing sucks :(

Maybe if they are able to work out some deal with the US government things wil work out.

Thanks for your support, But I think we will get some solution soon from Huawei so don't need to worry about it.

The problem is.. that whilst the current range of devices will work fine.... They are going to take a massive problem on their new ones.
If they have to cut costs going forward, decreasing support for the existing ones may be an option.

yes they can work around the issues.. but thats gonna cost them a lot.

ARM strikes me as the biggest problem, since Huawei's Kirin processors rely on ARM cores. If this means that they lose the license to use ARM designs it will be a very serious headache. Even if they retain access to the IP they're already using it will leave them the same problem, just will take a bit longer to become critical.

You are right, let see what will we get about it.

I use a Huawei phone myself at the moment, a Mate 10, which I'm happy with. But for my next phone might well be a Samsung, especially if the POTUS, Google, ARM, and anyone else cuts Huawei off.

We will see. Watch this space.

@mikedt They are considering it but I personally don't understand why.
Why would Huawei even consider bowing down to this?
Is it an admission of guilt do you think?
Are Huawei bowing down to anything? Google, ARM etc are bowing down to US Govt. pressure, Huawei will certainly look for negotiated solutions if those are available, but that would be for commercial reasons (and I'm sure they will also be working to reduce their dependence on US companies, and companies vulnerable to US pressure, in future - they would be insane not to, and I'm sure that would also mesh well with Chinese government priorities).
