Anything comparable to "Auto on off" on the Blackberry?

It was a pleasure to program the BB to turn itself off at night and on in the AM. Does anyone know of any apps that can duplicate this?

I've been looking in the Market for some time for an app like this. So far no luck. Its amazing that this simple functionallity is not built in.

Someone told me to get Juice Defender and then add on Ultimatejuice (paid). I have done this but there are no instructions and I'm not sure how it works. It seems very confusing.

IIRC, a Blackberry does not truly turn off in the true sense of the term... it just hibernates. If that is the case (and I suspect it is, because I don't think a blackberry really turned off can turn itself on), an app like Profiles may do the trick. It's on the Market.

Off the top of my head, Timeriffic, Locale and Tasker can help as well.

I just downloaded profiles. It looks like there are four bars. Normal, Quiet, Outdoor, and Night. There are no instructions. I don't know what they do except change the screen intensity. Where, is anything to set a time for airplane mode to come on, and question #2-- how to you learn how these things work?
You seem like you know what you're doing.
I'm new to the game and would appreciate a response.
