Help Anyway to edit notification status for Text to ONLY show who its from?

Some people might be using your phone and you don't want them being able to read a text that's coming thru. They can read most of it just from the notification bar w/o opening your texts. That's kind of UNprivate. Anyway to change that to ONLY show who is texting you and nothing else?

Handcent sms has a privacy mode, globally or per contact.

Yea but that doesn't help my car.i want to be able to see who texted but without the message.hand cent will just block it out completely and say new message

and as general info. (not saying it applies to the OP) your a complete idiot anyway if you use your personal cellphone to contact your GF if you have a Wife. Get a prepaid throw away and use that.

Lol hilarious.but seriously. There's gotta be a way to only see the sender and not the message details. Don't need people that are using my phone being able to read wat people text me
