Im currently running AOKP 4.4.4. I got it from dadcup's thread in the forum. I was wondering if anyone knew where i could find a custom kernel for good battery life? i can only get like 7 or 8 hours but with stock i got 27 hours. Any ideas?

We don't have a custom kernel. I also have the same problem with any custom rom I use. The battery life is not as good as it was on stock

Also I'm guessing you just got this phone or something since you have all these questions but here is a little tidbit. The exhibit doesn't have a lot of development on it. I mean yeah we have the basics like cwm and a few custom roms but not much other stuff. Like not many people trying to see what they can do with stock, or custom kernels or anything.

Ive had the phone for about a year now. But i just got into custom roms and stuff. Ive flashed about 8 or 9 custom roms that have worked for me. Im not much of a programer either so its not simple for me to make anything.

You can learn by picking up a guide and just porting it over learning the flaws and misteaks you made. Any language you write in will have bugs and "slap in the faces" my first port was twrp for the galaxy prevail and let me tell you I have never in my life messed up so badly then and there. But you can always keep trying and learning. Something's come at you as if you knew it all along. And some ports are like wtf am I doing!?. Trust ive seen it happen. Anyway point is I went and ported another app as to why I been stuck on this cause I love the 4.2 quick panel and i had to use another guide and make my own in my head. Baiscly like this. I followed bootmgrs guide for 4.2 quick panel settings to a touch wiz and found you have to edit both status bar and the two status bar. Then I removed all toggles brightness bar etc left the notifications alone but just move the toggles to another panel :D then again" I DRink beer and enjoy a good time while i see code as if I was editing it in the plam of my hands." Cheers to anyone who gets the last part :D
