Hi there everyone,
A while ago, I rooted and ran stock plus rom, which did dandy. Last night, on my monthly "you're out of room in your /data/data partition" thing I do, I decided to give ICS a whirl, so I downloaded the latest aokp rom and gapps, did a factory reset, chose to clear cache and ran the roms from cwm.
Almost everything works great. Aside from some lockups and reboots, it's usable.... except for one very important feature:
I can't use my phone as a phone. The first time I took a call, I heard an incredibly fast paced cyclic cutting out and return of sound. It sounds like someone has slowed down the pace of a recording and is switching the volume on and off really quickly.
I rebooted and called an automated number to try it out again and it started out fine and then began to speed up and slow down the gurgling/cutting out during the duration of the call.
Has anyone witnessed this with this particular rom and more importantly if you have, were you able to fix it and of utmost importance, if you were how?
I would very much appreciate any help you might be able to provide.
