Apex Launcher and Handcent SMS / Unread Message Count

Hi All...

I just bought a Galaxy S3, and have installed Apex Launcher on it, mostly so that I could get my unread message counts on my apps in my dock.

I got it working for GMAIL ok... it shows my unread messages in a little red box as expected.

I can't get it working for Handcent SMS. I have gone into the Advanced Settings and checked "Unread SMS count". I have gone into SMS app, and selected Handcent SMS as my SMS app. I have deleted and re-added the app to my dock. I have tried it in my dock and outside my dock. No matter what I do, I can't get an unread count to display.

Any other suggestions?

FYI, I just had to reboot my phone for the settings to take effect. I tried restarting the launcher, but that wasn't enough. Problem solved.
