APK downloaded Apps

If you download an application without going to Google Play Store and download the Apk, and of course once you have set the phone to install non play store apps, once the apk file for the app has been installed, when you do go to play store, will that app be shown there, or are the apps shown as installed on the play store only the apps that were installed through that store?

Hi

Only the apps installed via playstore are shown there.

The app will appear in

menu button
manage applications
downloaded tab (at the top)

along with apps downloaded from everywhere. You can uninstall it from there if you need to.

Yeah, mine can be found in the my files folder, well the apk file if you dont actually install it and just want to delete the download.
