APN Settings for Hero on Vodafone

Morning all,

Since I got my Unlocked Hero back in August & just slipped my existing Vodafone SIM into the phone, I have not changed any of the default APN settings.

Is there any other specific Vodafone APN settings I should be using & if so, what is the advantage of using them?

I also have an unlocked Hero and shoved the SIM in and haven't looked back since. I know some people have had issue with sending/receiving MMS messages.

I can send/receive these, but haven't since I realised they're not included in the data package bundle and cost about 36p a pop!?!

You can by MMS packages for a couple of quid of 50 messages, but it only lasts a month.

Anyway, I digress. With regards your question, I think you'll be fine and dandy without the need to alter any settings.
